Knife Fight Gauntlet: Summer Grill Mystery Box Edtion - July 21st

Dashe Cellars hosts 3 local chefs who will battle it out on the grill in the Wine Garden!

3 local chefs will battle it out on Dashe Cellars amazing patio in 2 competitions MC'd by Oakland's own Chef Tu David Phu and overall decided by YOU the guest. Oaktown Spice Shop-mystery spice, Dashe Cellars-mystery wine & Del Monte Meat Company-mystery protein each chef will need to use each of these to incorporate into their dish.

Up first will be Chef Larry Keck vs. Chef Lamont Perriman-Chef Larry has competed on Guy's Grocery Games and Chef Lamont is a private chef and local caterer here in Oakland. He also participated in Bringing it to the Table, a local black chef competition.

The winner of that round will move on to compete against Chef Ronny Miranda of Urban Alley and just recently on Beat Bobby Flay.

Tickets include tasting and judging for both chef competions and your first glass of wine.

DATE: July 28

TIME: 12-5pm

FIRST ROUND

12 pm - Introduction and revealing of Secret Spice, Protein & Wine
12:30 pm - Chef's get 45 mins to create and plate for 4 judges and 30 guests.
12:45 pm - Each guest gets a coin upon arrival to put into growler for Foodie Favorite, judges will judge with a chart.
1 pm - winner is announced and gets ready to face next chef.

SECOND ROUND

1:30 pm - Introduction and revealing of Secret Spice, Protein & Wine

Dine & Dashe –First Saturday Party in the Wine Garden with Eat Play Events & Catering

Join us the first Saturday of every month for wines by the glass and live music by local artists! This is our last party in the Wine Garden before Harvest arrives and our outdoor space turns into our grape crushpad. Starting in September, we’ll move the stage back in the cellar to party among the barrels.

New for 2018, our friends from Eat Play Events & Catering will feature a local chef every month! In August, Celebrity Chef Ronny Miranda of Beat Bobby Flay and Urban Alley in Walnut Creek will be whipping up his creations made specifically to pair with our newest releases.

WineBarre in the Garden - August 5th

WineBarre: a fitness & wine pairing event!

Join us in the Dashe Cellars wine garden for a 45-minute barre class that blends cardio, strength training, flexibility, balance and core conditioning into a total body workout. Follow with a well-deserved glass of wine. This low impact workout promotes strong muscles and the wine is just delicious. All fitness levels are welcome. Bring a yoga mat**, water and friends!

10th Annual Paella Fiesta - Sat & Sun, November 10th & 11th

It’s our most popular event of the year! Join Dashe Cellars for our two-day Open House celebration on November 10th & 11th for our 10th Annual Paella Fiesta.

Enjoy incredible food, while you taste almost every wine that we create here at Dashe Cellars. From our Grenache to our Todd Brothers Zinfandel, we’ll be opening all our current releases to share with our friends; we’ll even be selecting two of our best barrels for special barrel tastings throughout the evening. Dine and Dashe: First Saturday Party in the Wine Garden

Blending Workshop - Saturday, February 10th

Wine Club Member Exclusive
Join Michael and Anne Dashe, as well as Assistant Winemaker René Calderon, as they teach you the art of blending and treat you to lunch! First, you will learn about the various components of wine and gain hands-on knowledge of oak-influence, aroma, taste, and balance. We will explore different component wines from recent vintages, and discover the intricacies of each varietal, vineyard block, barrel flavors, and how they blend together and build on each other. Then, the fun really begins! We will provide you with the base component wines and it will be up to you to make your own cuvée. After you have created—and named!—your own signature blend, you will be treated to a gourmet lunch in the cellar.

This is a hands-on workshop that is open to all skill-sets, the only requirement is a love of wine!
