Wine Club BBQ

SPRING WINE CLUB BARBECUE

IN THE VINEYARDS

A special Wine Club-exclusive event, this all-day affair will be a delicious celebration of great wine and food in the heart of wine country. You'll tour our top vineyards and have the opportunity to meet and talk with the winegrowers. Last year's BBQ was an incredibly popular event, and this year's BBQ promises to be even bigger and better.

To make the day even more appealing, we will be offering bus service to and from the event. Here's what we have in store for you:

Bus departs from our winery in Oakland at 9:30 a.m.
Arrive at the Todd Brothers Ranch in the Alexander Valley and receive a guided tour from Ken and Tim Todd
Head over to the Family Wineries of Dry Creek Valley picnic area for a wine-paired BBQ prepared by Larry's Smokehouse. The menu will feature slow-smoked southern BBQ chicken, St. Louis style pork spareribs, and an array of side dishes (including the famous Ritter potato salad), served alongside a selection of our great Dashe Cellars wines
After lunch we will take a short walk next door to Louvau Vineyards where Anne and Mike will lead a tour through the old vines
Return to the picnic area for a sumptuous dessert paired with our Late Harvest Zinfandel
Back on the bus for a nap on the return trip, arriving in Oakland between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m.

Admission to our Spring Barbecue is $55 per person and includes food, wine and travel on our chartered bus. Make sure you get in early as this is a very popular event and books up quickly!

Uncorked! Wine Festival at Ghirardelli Square

Experience the ambience of the waterfront and entertainment along Beach Street and throughout Ghirardelli Square's courtyards while you enjoy tastings from over 50 Northern California wineries. Experience chef demonstrations, wine education seminars and gourmet food sampling. The event is free and open to the public; however, tickets are required to participate in wine tasting.
